At Kistamässan, we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for our visitors, exhibitors, and staff. That’s why we are proud to once again receive the SHORE certification, confirming that we continue to uphold the highest industry standards for safety and security.

What is the SHORE-Certification?

SHORE (Safe, Hospitality, Office, Retail, and Exhibition) is a security certification specifically designed for the meetings and events industry. This certification ensures that Kistamässan meets strict requirements for safety and crisis management, making our venue a secure place for both large and small events.

Receiving this certification year after year demonstrates that our safety efforts are not a one-time initiative but an integral part of our operations. We continuously strive to improve our procedures and create a safe environment for everyone visiting our venue.

Safety in Focus – Our Measures

To ensure we continue to meet the certification’s requirements, we implement a range of security measures, including:
  • Regular CPR and PDV training – Our staff receives annual training in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and ongoing deadly violence (PDV).
  • Defibrillators and first aid kits – Strategically placed throughout the venue for quick access in case of emergency.
  • Safety briefings before every event – Before each event, our staff is thoroughly briefed on security procedures and emergency preparedness.
