Kista is one of Stockholm’s most dynamic areas, known for Kista Science Park and its tech cluster. The area features modern offices, research and innovation environments, restaurants, hotels, and nearby shopping malls. It’s easily accessible, just a 15-minute subway or train ride from central Stockholm.
We knew that the idea of hosting elite competitions across all kinds of strength training under one roof was a crazy project. But together with Kistamässan, we were able to refine our vision and turn it into a success. Nearly 10,000 people attended to watch almost 500 participants compete in 8 different events over 2 days. Crazy, indeed! But just as amazing! Now we’re gearing up to do it again next year—bigger, more spectacular, and heavier.
