We continuously work on integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into our events to reduce our climate impact and promote sustainability. To create a sustainable business, we focus on six main areas: energy, travel & accommodation, freight & logistics, production & waste, food & food waste, and social responsibility. By actively working within these areas, we aim to reduce our environmental impact and promote social responsibility for a more sustainable future.

Sustainable tips for exhibitors & visitors

Join Easyfairs and act for the future! There are several things you as an exhibitor, organizer or visitor can consider to make your participation more sustainable at our events. For example, choose public transportation, use reusable materials, opt for vegetarian food and be mindful of your energy and water usage.

Net Zero Carbon Events

As part of the Easyfairs group, Kistamässan is a member of the Net Zero Carbon Events commitment and we aim to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and halve our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Easyfairs is committed to conducting our events in an environmentally and socially responsible manner by:


Kistamässan & Malmömässan receive SUSA-certification which underscores the commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices. SUSA-certificates are issued according to the standard for the Swedish environmental management system. Sustainability measures include energy and electricity usage, ethical catering and waste reduction.


As a part of our sustainability efforts, Kistamässan has undergone a Safety Certification, making the facility a secure venue. For example, the staff has undergone CPR and emergency response training and we have defibrillators and first aid kits on-site. The staff also undergoes security briefings before each event.
